Reggio-inspired preschool and emerging elementary program

Ample time to explore the outdoors

Blossom Heights School students spend at least half of their day outside playing. Children are able to climb, dig, build, run, jump, and take time to ground themselves and connect with the Earth. Extended outdoor play also offers them the chance to deepen their play uninterrupted furthering their social development, in addition to their motor development.

Meeting children’s natural curiosity

Our teachers use the children in their classroom as guides to their teaching. Classroom provocations are set up and changed throughout the year based on teacher observations of the children’s interests, inquiries, and abilities. Teachers also use these interests as inviting ways to engage children in math, science, literacy skills, motor development, and more.

Multi-sensorial engaging environments

Our indoor and outdoor spaces are filled with materials ready to engage children’s senses. From loose parts to build, count, and manipulate to our lush gardens to explore, each corner of our campus is thoughtfully curated to offer a plethora of ways for children to discover and connect with the world around them.

100 languages

Children express their wonder in a hundred ways. The Reggio Emilia approach celebrates creativity, curiosity, and the many languages of learning. Through hands-on exploration, creative expression, and meaningful relationships, we nurture each child’s unique way of thinking and communicating. Our campus is designed to inspire discovery, collaboration, and a deep love for learning—ensuring every child’s needs are met with care, respect, and encouragement.

We’re growing.

Blossom Heights was founded in 2010 by Linda Draper and started small, but has grown to over 120 students on a 2 acre campus that includes lush gardens, dynamic outdoor spaces, and 7 indoor classrooms.

In 2025, Blossom Heights begins its next big endeavor with a brand new building to hold 6 more classrooms, including an emerging elementary school.
